Vintage Stocking Trims Set 1 Crochet Pattern

Give your hearth a cozy, warm glow this Yuletide season with handcrafted stockings and crocheted trims. Make your own Christmas stockings from fabrics to suit your home décor. Or you could decorate bought Stockings to add the personal touch. Trim each stocking with a different crochet design. In this set there is the Filet Cross (with Fringe), Bells, Round Motifs and Pineapple Scallops. Besides the Round Motifs, which was worked in size 20 thread, the others are made using Size 10 thread and a Steel #7 hook. These trims can also be made to different lengths and used around the house… as curtain tie-backs, towel edgings, or for whatever you'd like.

Size 10 thread
(except for Round Motif, which is Size 20).
½ yd Fabric for Stocking and Cuff.

Crochet Hook: Steel Number 7 hook (1.65 mm)
