Heaven Sent Tree Skirt Crochet Pattern
The Brenner Children's Hospital Festival of Trees is a fundraiser event held each year in Winston-Salem, NC. This treasured holiday tradition is not only an area favorite, but also one of the major fundraiser events for special programs at the hospital. All of the beautifully decorated 7-1/2 foot trees are pre-sold to business and individuals sight unseen before the start of the event. The desire to impress the purchaser of the tree drives the designers to new heights of creativity each year.
I had the honor of being a contributor to the 2012 Festival of Trees, and the theme for my tree was "Angels". As you can probably guess, this was what inspired me to design the Heaven Sent Crochet Tree Skirt. This intarsia crochet design is worked in single crochet. The white angels set in the light blue background create a wonderfully peaceful aura, while the metallic silver halos and bows add some celestial shimmer. Get started on this project now to make sure that your next Christmas tree looks Heaven Sent.
