Materials:Sewing needle and thread; Hot glue gun; Worsted Weight Yarn:

Papa Bear:

            Navy (N) - 2 oz, 132 yds;

            White (W) - 2 oz, 132 yds;

¼" wide Elastic - 11";

½" White Round Button;

¾" White Star buttons - 2;

1/8" wide White Satin ribbon - 1½ yds long;

½" diameter circle Velcro® hook and eye closure;

Mama Bear:

            White (W) - 1oz, 66 yds;

            Red (R) - 2 oz, 132 yds;

½" Red Round button;

1/8" wide Blue Satin ribbon - 1 yd long;

3/8" wide Blue & White Striped ribbon - 1 yd long;

½" diameter circle Velcro® hook and eye closure; Teen Bear:

            White (W) - 1 oz, 66 yds;

            Navy (N) - 1 oz, 66 yds;

Anchor appliqué - 1 ½" tall;

¼" wide Elastic - 7½" long;

½" diameter circle Velcro® hook and eye closure.

Baby Bear:

            White (W) - ½ oz, 33 yds;

            Navy (N) - ½ oz, 33 yds;

 ½" White Round button;

1/8" wide Navy Satin ribbon - ½ yd long;

½" wide Red Satin ribbon - ¼ yd long;

½" diameter circle Velcro® hook and eye closure.

Crochet Hook:  Size F-5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: In dc, 4 sts = 1"; 2 rows = 1".

Sizes:             Papa Bear : to fit 12" craft bear

            Mama Bear: to fit 10" craft bear

            Teen Bear: to fit 8" craft bear

            Baby Bear: to fit 6" craft bear

Now that hibernation is over and warm weather has arrived, this bear family has decided to go sailing for the day. Papa bear will be the captain with baby bears Chubby & Rex first mates. Skipper - Mama Bear will make sure everyone stays safe. Outfits are easy to make with worsted weight yarn.
