JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
TO CHANGE COLORS
Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

Double Crochet Cluster (dc-cl):Keeping last loop of each st on hook, work 3 dc in st or sp indicated, yo and pull through all loops on hook.
Treble Cluster (tr-cl):Keeping last loop of each st on hook, work 3 tr in st or sp indicated, yo and pull through all loops on hook.
SEAT COVER
Rose
Rnd 1:(Right Side) Starting at center, with Yellow, ch 7, (hdc, ch 4) 5 times in 7th ch from hook, (skipped ch counts as first hdc and ch 4); join with sl st to first hdc. (6 ch-4 lps)
Rnd 2:Ch 1, (sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc) in each ch-4 lp around; join in beginning ch-1. (6 petals)
Rnd 3:Ch 6, working behind petals, sc between next 2 sc between petals, * ch 5, sc in sp between next 2 sc between petals; rep from * 3 times, ch 5; join in first st of beginning ch-6.
Rnd 4:Ch 1, (sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc) in each ch-4 lp around; join in beginning ch-1. (6 petals)
Rnd 5:Ch 8, working behind petals, sc between next 2 sc between petals, * ch 7, sc in sp between next 2 sc between petals; rep from * 3 times, ch 7; join in first st of beginning ch-8.
Rnd 6:Ch 1, (sc, hdc, 2 dc, 3 tr, 2 dc, hdc, sc) in each ch-4 lp around; join in beginning ch-1. (6 petals)

Finish off and weave in ends.
Leaf Clusters:
* With right side facing, join Green with sl st in dc before sp between 2 petals, (dc-cl, ch 3, dc-cl) in sp between petals, skip next 2 sts of next petal, join with sl st in next dc. Finish off and weave in ends.
- Repeat from * 3 more times in following 3 sps between petals.
Next Cluster:
With right side facing, join Green with sl st to first tr to right of sp between next 2 petals, [tr-cl, (ch 3, tr-cl) twice] in sp between petals, skip next 3 sts of next petal, join with sl st in next tr. Finish off and weave in ends.
- Repeat Next Cluster in space between next 2 petals.

Rnds 3-5:Ch 3, working in dc, work 3 dc in center st of each of the 2 corners and increase a sufficient number of times on shaped edge to keep work flat. At the end of Rnd 5, finish off and weave in ends.
Row 6:With right side facing, join Black with sl st to center st of next corner, hdc in next st, dc in next 23 dc, hdc in next st, sl st in next st.
Rnd 7:Ch 1, sc in same sp, * ch 1, skip next st, sc in next st; rep from * around, ch 1, join with sl st to first sc.
Row 8:Ch3, working in dc, work 1 dc in each st to opposite corner. Do not work across straight edge.
Row 9:Ch 1, turn, sc in same sp, * ch 1, skip next st, sc in next st; rep from * around to next corner. Do not work across straight edge. Finish off and weave in ends.
Tie
With Black, crochet a chain about 1½ yds long.
- Lace tie through last row of ch-1 sps.
