Rnd 1: Ch4, slst in first ch to form ring; ch1, working over end of starting ch, 12dc in ring; join with slst to first dc. (12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch1, 2dc in each dc around; join as before. (24 dc)

Rnd 3: Ch1, 2dc in first dc, dc in next dc, [2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc] around; join as before. (36dc) For Small Size, skip to Sides.

 

For Medium, Large and Extra Large:

Rnd 4: Ch1, 2dc in first dc, dc in next 8 dc [2dc in next dc, dc in next 8 dc] around; join as before. (40dc) For Medium Size, skip to Sides.

 

Rnd 5: Ch1, 2dc in first dc, dc in next 7 dc [2dc in next dc, dc in next 7 dc] around; join as before. (45dc) For Large Size, skip to Sides.

 

For Extra Large:

Rnd 6: Ch1, 2dc in first dc, dc in next 8 dc [2dc in next dc, dc in next 8 dc] around; join as before. (50dc)

 

Sides

Rnds 4-9 (5-11, 6-12, 7-13): Ch1, dc in each dc around; join as before. [36(40,45,50)dc]
At end of Rnd 9 (11, 12, 13), finish off and weave in ends.

 

Finishing – use photo as guide.

Attach Pom Pom to crown of Hat.
