Easy Pearl Rose

Size: Varies depending upon yarn and hook size

 
Materials: This pattern can be worked in any thread or yarn. Thread or fine yarn will produce smaller flowers; thicker yarns will produce larger flowers. Yardage will vary depending on the material used.

Crochet Hook: Hook size will vary depending on the yarn chosen for the project.

The video uses Worsted Weight Cotton yarn and a size H-8 hook.




Abbreviations:

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

sl st – slip stitch

rep - repeat

 

SPECIAL STITCHES

Popcorn (pc): Keeping last loop of each st on hook, work 3 tr, yo and pull through all 4 loops on hook.

 

FLOWER

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Ch 4, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; * ch 3, (pc, ch 3, sl st) in ring; rep from * 4 times more. (5 petals) Finish off and weave in ends.

 

 

LEAVES

Row 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, * ch 9, sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next 5 ch, sc in next ch, sl st in next ch *; rep from * to * twice more. (3 leaves). Finish off leaving long end.

 

Using photo as guide, sew leaves to the back of the flower, then sew a Pearl Button to center of each Flower.
