Easy Head Band

Easy Skill

Size: To fit average women's size head.

Finished Head Band – About 2½" wide and 21" long.

Materials: Premier® Yarns – Home™ Cotton used in model.

Worsted Weight Yarn :

For each Head Band:

White – 1oz, 50yds (28g, 45m)

Abbreviations

beg - beginning

ch - chain

dc - double crochet

lp(s) - loop(s)

rem - remaining

rep - repeat

sc - single crochet(s)

sp(s) - space(s)

slst(s) - slip stitch(es)

st(s) - stitch(es)

yo - yarn over

Additional Materials: Yarn Needle.

Flower Motif

Crochet Hook:

Size I-9 (5.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge:

Rows 1-3 = 3".

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

HEAD BAND

Row 1: (Right Side) With White, ch36, (3dc, ch1, 4dc) in 4^th ch from hook (skipped ch count as first dc). (32 ch (for Tie), 8dc & 1ch1-sp)

Rows 2-21: Ch3, (counts as first dc, now and throughout), skip next 3 dc, (3dc, ch1, 3dc) in next ch-1sp, skip next 3 dc, dc in last dc. (8dc & 1ch1-sp)

At end Row 21, DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Tie

Ch1, turn, slst in each of next 3 dc, slst in ch-1sp, ch32. Finish off and weave in ends.
