Size: 8" across.
Materials:Yarn Needle; Worsted Weight Yarn;
Red (R) - 2 oz, 110 yd (56 g, 99 m);
White (W) - 1oz, 55 yd (28 g, 50 m);
Small amounts Green (G) and Pale Yellow (Y).
Crochet Hook:Size I-9 (5.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 7 dc and 4 rows = 2".

JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
Special Stitches
Cluster Stitch (cl-st):Keeping last lp of each st on hook, 3 dc in same st or sp, yo and draw through all lps on hook.
Picot:Ch 3, sl st in 3rdch from hook.
Front
Rnd 1(Right Side): With R, ch 5, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 1, (sc in ring, ch 3) 8 times; join with sl st to first sc. (8 ch-3 lps)
Rnd 2:[Sc, ch 1, (dc, ch 1) 3 times, sc] in each lp around, sl st in last lp. (8 Petals)
Rnd 3:* Sc in next ch-1 sp, (ch 4, sc in next ch-1 sp) 3 times; rep from * around, end; sl st in next sc. (24 ch-4 lps)
Rnd 4:Working behind Petals, (ch 5, sl st in space between next 2 petals) 8 times. (8 ch-5 lps) Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 5:With right side facing, join G with sl st to any ch-5 sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), keeping last lp of each st on hook, 2 dc in same sp, yo and draw through all lps on hook (beg cl-st made), ch 5, cl-st in same ch-5 sp, ch 5, (sc, picot, ch 5) twice in next ch-5 sp, * (cl-st, ch 5, cl-st) in next ch-5 sp, ch 5, (sc, picot, ch 5) twice in next ch-5 sp; rep from * around; join with sl st to beg cl-st. (8 cl-sts) Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 6:With right side facing, join W with sl st to any ch-5 sp, (beg cl-st, ch 5, sl-st) in same sp, ch 5, (sc in next ch-5 sp, picot, ch 5) 3 times, * (cl-st, ch 5, cl-st) in next ch-5 sp, ch 5, (sc in next ch-5 sp, picot, ch 5) 3 times; rep from * around; join with sl st to beg cl-st.
Rnd 7:Sl st in next ch-5 sp, (beg cl-st, ch 5, cl-st) in same sp, (sc in next ch-5 sp, picot, ch 5) 4 times, * (cl-st, ch 5, cl-st) in next ch-5 sp, ch 5, (sc in next ch-5 sp, picot, ch 5) 4 times; rep from * around; join with sl st to beg cl-st.
Rnd 8:Sl st in next ch-5 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, 4 dc in each ch-5 sp across, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in corner, 4 dc in each sp across to next corner; rep from * around; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Back
Rnd 1: With R, ch 1 (center ch), ch 3, dc in center ch, ch 3, (2 dc in center ch, ch 3) 3 times more, join with sl st to first dc. (8 dc)
Rnds 2-7:Ch 3, dc in each dc around, working (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in each corner; join with sl st to first dc. (At the end of Rnd 7, 104 dc).
At the end of Rnd 7, finish off and weave in ends.
Finishing
Cut 6 pieces of Y 2" long. Sew center of pieces to center of flower.
Holding wrong sides together and working through both sides at the same time, with Front facing, join R with sc to any ch-2 sp, sc in same sp, ch 15, sl st in sc just made, sc in same sp (hanger made), (sc in next 3 sts, picot) 8 times across to next corner, sc in next 2 sts, *(2 sc, picot, sc) in corner, (sc in next 3 sts, picot) 8 times across to next corner, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st to first sc.
(35 picots) Finish off and weave in all ends.
