Size: 40" x 60"
Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn;
20 oz, 1100 yds (560 g, 990 m) Center Color (CC);
15 oz, 825 yds (420 g, 743 m) Main Color (MC).
Crochet Hook: Size I-9 (5.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: Puff Motif is 5" in diameter.

Special Stitches
Puff St:YO, insert hook in st or space indicated, (YO and pull up a lp) twice, YO and draw through all 5 lps on hook, ch 1 to lock st.
Puff Motif(Make 96)
Entire Motif is worked with Right Side Facing.
Rnd 1 (Right Side): With CC ch 4, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 1, work Puff St in ring 6 times; join with sl st to top of first Puff St, pulling end tight to close ring. (6 Puff St) Join Rnds 2-4 in the same way. DO NOT TURN RNDS.
Rnd 2:Sl st in next sp between Puff Sts, ch 1, work 2 Puff St in same sp and each sp around; join. (12 Puff St) Finish off.
Rnd 3:Sl st in next sp between Puff Sts, ch 1, work 2 Puff St in same sp, Puff St in next sp, *2 Puff St in next sp, Puff St in next sp; rep from * around; join. (18 Puff St)
Rnd 4:Sl st in next sp, ch 1, 2 Puff St in same sp, Puff St in next 2 sp, *2 Puff St in next sp, Puff St in next 2 sp; rep from * around; join. (24 Puff St) Finish off.
Rnd 5:Join MC with sl st to any sp, ch 3 (counts as dc now and throughout), 2 dc in same sp and next 2 sp, *3 dc in next sp, 2 dc in next 2 sp; rep from * around; join with sl st to beg dc. (56 dc)
Finish off and weave in ends.
Joining Motifs Make 8 strips of 12 Motifs.
Using MC, with Wrong Sides together, starting at center dc of 3-dc group, whipstitch through both thicknesses, end at center dc of next 3-dc group.
Star Motif
Work Star Motif in each intersection of 4 Motifs.
With MC, ch 5, join with a sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 1, *sc in ring, ch 3, with Right Side of afghan facing, sl st in same st as joining of 2 motifs, ch 3, sc in ring, ch 2, skip next 2 dc, sl st in next dc, ch 2; rep from * 3 times more; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
